Food Pantry at the back of the church is open to EVERYONE
Tuesdays – Sunday from 8.00 – 18.00 (or dusk if before)

This Pantry is kindly supported by many of the parishioners of St Bonaventure’s Church and also the local residents of Egerton Road and the surrounding community.

Now that the children have returned to school, parents will know how important it is for them to start the day with a nourishing breakfast and end it with a hot meal so they have the energy and focus they need for their school work. That’s where the Community Food Pantry comes in, offering cereal and milk, tinned meals and tinned vegetables – and many other essentials – to those in our area who may need a little extra help to put a meal on the table.

But we can’t do this without your generosity. Food costs have risen sharply since last year, and our dedicated team of volunteer shoppers find that the Pantry’s funds don’t go as far as they once did. If you’d like to help us keep on going this year, please consider supporting us with a donation. We can receive cash to Trish at number 55 Egerton Road or if you’d prefer to give by card you can use the Donation Point inside the door of the church (click the “Food Pantry” button). Thank you for your support!

Please donate:

Longlife milk (dairy)

Longlife milk (soya)

Cereal

Tinned tomatoes

Tinned tuna

Toilet paper

Please DO NOT donate:

Fresh food (we can’t safely store it and it will go to waste)

Where do I leave food donations?

Please put food donations either in the clear box labelled “Community Food Pantry Donation Box” at the back of the church or in the box outside the front door of the Presbytery.

How do I donate money?

There is a “Food Pantry” button on the Donation Point inside the church if you would like to make monetary donations by card. Or you can give cash to Mgr Massey or put it in an envelope through Trish’s door at 55 Egerton Road.

Thank you all for your support!
