CAFOD Coordinator

CAFOD is the church’s official overseas development agency and Hilary is our local enthusiastic coordinator. If you have an interest in this work then, Hilary will be only too pleased to show you how you can help.
 
Children’s Liturgy Coordinator
Neta Roylance- Smith
 
Neta is a naturally gifted communicator and with 3 teenage children she has learned the best ways of explaining the faith to young people. She is always inclusive and looks for young mums and dads who want to help in this important work.

Claire is a relatively new mum who saw a need for a group and started it up. Mums and mums-to-be are always welcome for a chat and a cuppa. 
 
Friday – Soup Lunch

 Fridays in the Presbytery from 12.15pm. Donations are sent to charity.
All welcome meet in the St Elizabeth room for delicious home made soups.

Angela has led the lively pack for
many years and so brings a wealth
of experience to their Monday night meetings. Brownies is for girls aged 7+ New members are always welcome.

Our Parish finance committee is there to look after the resources of the parish; including its buildings To ensure sound management of our assets for today and the future. 
Community Pantry
& Food Bank
 
Free food and a variety personal essentials especially for women and babies are always available in our Food Pantry near the entrance area   of the church.
We also support the local food bank in conjunction with our Primary school.

As you would expect we take very seriously the safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults. We see everyone as a child of God and try to ensure that they are always treated with dignity.

This is the back bone of our parish pastoral care. They look after the housebound, the bereaved and those who need any kind of support. Their quiet work is always appreciated and they would like extra members, especially some men. 
 
Rosary Group
Every Tuesday
 
       Meet in St Elizabeth room         
in the Presbytery at 2.00pm.
Please come and join in prasying the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet and share a cup of tea afterwards. 
 
 
Painting Group

On 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month 10.00 – 12.00. Meet in the St Elizabeth room in the Presbytery. All welcome, including beginners, to join small and very friendly group.  Bring your own materials.
 
Parish Ramblers

Usually meet on a monthly basis on a Sunday, and start in the church car park to share lifts.

Drop In – Coffee Morning

Meet on 2nd Wednesday of the month 10.30-12.00. Come along to the presbytery to meet up with old friends or make new ones while enjoying a cuppa. People living with dementia and their carers particularly welcome.
 
 
Cricket Group
 
St Bon’s Cricket XI welcomes new players, young and old, experienced or newcomers, male or female. We play 20:20 fixtures, weekly, on various nights over the summer and are always on the look out for new talent.
 
MENS GROUP

Bible and Catechism study with real life application to become a better Catholic Man, Husband, Father
and forge a lasting brotherhood of men of faith. Meetings on the first Friday of each month, 7.30pm in the presbytery, followed by refreshments in the pub.
